Top 15 TV Shows of All Time
I saw a bunch of people post a list of their "top 15 TV shows ever, gut instincts only", and decided to post mine here, in no particular order:
- Parks and Recreation
- Schitt's Creek
- Severance
- Tom and Jerry
- Wandavision
- Loki
- The West Wing
- Star Trek: The Next Generation
- The OA
- Ted Lasso
- Plur1bus
- The X-Files
- Twin Peaks
- Mythic Quest, Season 1, Episode 5: A Dark Quiet Death
- The Last of Us, Season 1, Episode 3: Long, Long Time
While I think both Mythic Quest and The Last of Us are good shows, I called out specific episodes, both of which happen to be standalones that show tangential characters living out their lives within one well-written episode, because they are just so good, and would stand the test of time.
I admit that I never finished Twin Peaks or watched the movies, but I probably will someday. The show is obviously such an eclectic show that was lucky it aired when it did.
There are a few more shows that didn't make the list, but I think I've already stretched the concept of giving my "gut" list of TV shows by making it into a blog post and adding commentary. 😅
