My New Wallet: Traveler's Company 20th Anniversary Card-Sized Notebook
Today was a fun mail day: I got my Traveler's Company card-sized notebook from Vanness Pen Shop which I plan to use as my wallet. I couldn't resist its tiny size!

Here it is compared to the passport-sized Traveler's Company notebook, so smol! š
And here they are in comparison with the 3D-printed cassette tape wallet I was using before. The Traveler's card-sized notebook is not too much bigger than the cassette, but, of course, more versatile.

The notebook cover came with several notebook refills, a kraft cardstock folder, and a canvas pocket.

I left the installed notebook insert in, but put the canvas pocket behind it. I put all my current cards into the left pocket flap and they fit nicely with little bulk. I don't actually know if I'll use the notebook, but I left it in there just in case. I really was mainly going for the leather cover and canvas pocket... š I was going to try to make the passport-sized notebook into my wallet with the zipped pocket insert they have for it, but it is a larger thing to carry around.

The idea reminds me of when I hacked together a Moleskine memo pockets and a small Moleskine notebook to make my own notebook wallet (but bulkier) years ago.

This form factor was great for holding lots of receipts and other ephemera, but it was also bad because it could hold lots of receipts and other ephemera. š The Traveler's Company wallet is a more minimal, easily pocketable solution.
I was going to wait to pick up the 20th anniversary card-sized notebook (I wish they had a snappier name for this š), but supposedly this isn't going to be a regular stock item, so I fell for the FOMO. :smh:
If you're interested, but missed out, the Traveler's Company site mentioned there will be some future restocks. Wow, I just realized that the black version has a blue canvas pocket that could also look good with the brown cover...argh! š
Thanks for reading. If you like what I write and want to support me, you can buy me a coffee...or ink sample! š I'd appreciate it.
