Short rant: ordering pizza online

What do pizza places in food delivery apps have against adding toppings to halves, i.e. mushrooms on the whole thing, pepperoni on half, and sausage on the other half (guess which topping I prefer)? Once I ordered a pizza giving those instructions and got a pizza whose toppings weren't distributed as expected. I really didn't get what the person who made the pizza was thinking... 🤦‍♀️

I think there's one place (I can't remember which) that specifically enables choosing which halves to put certain toppings on, but no one else does. And some places don't enable special instructions, so there's no way to even try to specify. 😒 I just ordered a pizza where I gave the instructions above in the special instructions text box. Here's hoping whoever makes the pizza understands. 🤞
