Picture a Day: May 8

I went to the backyard to pick some oranges and saw a couple of our "lizard buddies" hanging around. I rushed back inside to grab my X-Pro 3 with its telephoto lens and had a short, fun photo session carefully chasing them around, trying to get closer, as they're very skittish. I missed focus a little bit on this frame, but I like the lizard's pose here. I also like the surprising blue streak on its underside.

Still recuperating from illness (stupid lingering cough), but this was a nice short photo session to take my mind off it.

P.S. Anyone know what kind of lizard this is? I haven't tried searching for it yet, but if you know, please comment here or on Mastodon. 🙂
