Quickie shout out to 3D printing
I bought a pack of Post-Its yesterday and wanted a little holder for them, but ideally they wouldn't just be in a simple box, making the individual colors hard to get to. Searching Makerworld, I found just what I wanted in the model above. An hour and a half after I started the print, I had this cute tray, printed in the filament I wanted.
I think, at least for my needs, 3D printing shines when it's addressing niche concerns, because you wouldn't be able to find objects like that in a big box store. It's the exact opposite of what you'd find in retail, given how small-scale such items would be. And even though you can find Post-Its holders at the store, you would have to accept the form factor and materials used, which may or may not fit your needs and preferences.
I never got around to writing about when I first got my Bambu A1 Mini a couple Decembers ago, but I at least wanted to post this short missive showing my appreciation for it. Maybe sometime later I'll elaborate on my thoughts on the A1 Mini and 3D printing in general.
Thanks for reading. If you like what I write and want to support me, you can buy me a coffee...or tea! I'd appreciate it.
