Shitty Camera Challenge, Day 22:

Today I decided to take out my old Digital Harinezumi 2, a predecessor to my Sun&Cloud camera. It has a lot of quirks, not least being I often have to guess at framing pictures, because the back LCD doesn't have a live view of what it's pointed at in photo mode. I can work around this by pressing a button to put it into video recording mode to frame up my subject, and then switch back to photo mode, but that a) is a little inaccurate since video mode crops in further than photo mode, b) makes me accidentally take a video instead of a picture, because I forget to switch back to photo mode first, and c) is just is too fussy, so I often don't do it.

So today's batch of pictures were "shot from the hip" and sometimes snapped quickly before the camera was able to fully capture, so there's motion blur with some of the shots, with a surprising one that I'll point out later.

Despite its quirk of not having a live view for photos, I have to say I really like using this little camera more than the Kodak Charmera. I know they're completely different, and each has its strengths, but if I had to choose between the two, I'd definitely pick the Digital Harinezumi 2 (or DegiHari, as its EXIF indicates).
