Polaroid Week, Fall 2025, day 6

Flickr's group for Polaroid Week has peculiar timing for uploads, at least for me. You're limited to 2 images per 24 hours, and the daily reset time is 5PM Pacific, which I never remember, especially for the first day. So I'm always uploading a day behind, and haven't gotten to post pictures to the group for day 6 for the last few times I did Polaroid Week. :smh:

Anyway, that meant that today, day 6, since I didn't have the 2-image limit from the group, I decided to upload all the outtakes I liked from previous days that I held back due to the upload limit. I don't have a great way to just pick the last 11 pictures I uploaded for today, so here is an embed of my fall Polaroid Week album. On web, hover over the images to scroll through them, newest first.

Polaroid Week 2025 - Fall

I love shooting instant film, whether it's Instax, or modern Polaroid, or old discontinued Fuji pack film made for vintage Polaroid cameras. I don't do it that often because the film is pricey, but I should just suck it up and do it more often anyway because it makes me happy. I often love the results even when (sometimes especially when!) they're not well-framed or exposed, because instant film remains magical to me. Its surprises and quirks are what make instant film appealing to me. It's such a bummer Polaroid ever went out of business in the first place. I miss their original 600 film. It was SO GOOD. Anyway, hope you enjoyed Polaroid Week. We'll be back to "regular" picture a day posts shortly. 🙂
