Polaroid Week, Fall 2025, day 3

W00t, w00t, I found my Polaroid Land Camera 420 (yeah, yeah, whatever) among my camera gear here, so I busted out a pack of my precious Fuji FP-100c film from the fridge and reacquainted myself with how to shoot with this camera. There was already some film in it, but I kind of went through all the remaining frames (which may or may not have been able to be properly exposed) trying to figure out how to use it again. 😅 It was only 4 or 5... Anyway!

I took a few indoor pictures, which was a mixed bag. So I went out to Cuesta Park because I knew there was a cool-looking, golden-leaved gingko tree nearby. I got some decent shots of it with both the Land Camera and the Diana F+. One image from the Diana F+:

A double exposure of a partly cloudy, blue sky with a dark tree line and grass field below it along the horizon
"Just Making Sure", Diana F+, 55mm

Sometimes when I press on the shutter lever for the Diana F+, my finger slips off and I'm not sure it actually exposed the film, so I hit the lever again, usually creating a double exposure. I kind of like it.

I will actually save more of my pictures from Cuesta Park for later, because a little after I got home tonight, I saw that the sunset sky was looking colorful, so I rushed out with the Land Camera and shot this, among other things:

A dark blue sky with wisps of pink clouds filling the frame

My favorite shot of the day, and of Polaroid Week so far! The exposure turned out great, and I love the colors. Shooting with the Land Camera always feels magical. I'm going to be sad when I've run out of FP-100c and FP-3000B film (2 packs each left in my fridge)... ☚ī¸
