My Canon PowerShot N has this weird “creative mode” that automatically makes 6 different versions of the scene you frame when you press the shutter. Sometimes it’s interesting, sometimes it’s off. I think it randomly selects effects and filters, but it also will crop around what it thinks the subject is. I’ll have to play with it more. It’s a bit strange that there’s a dedicated physical switch to go into this mode. It seems Canon really wanted people to use this feature. I wonder how many people did?

I like that Canon made this quirky camera and its physical controls. It's a remnant of older tech that wasn't a rectangular solid with only touch controls, but their physical controls are quirky themselves. The shutter button is not a button but the ring around lens that you press down on. The lens's zoom controls are a spring loaded ring you twist. The "play" button to review images is also physical. The PowerShot N has touch controls for the menu options, but has opinions on what photographers needed physical controls for. Some time I want to get the upgraded version for my collection.
