picture of the day: jun 29
First "real picture" I took while out on a walk today with my Ricoh GXR and the new Leica M-mount lens module that I got for my birthday last weekend. 🙂 I also got an adapter for Nikon F-mount lenses, and the Jupiter-3 lens for my birthday. I will post more about the lens module, Jupiter lens, and all that later, after I've lived with it for a while. In the meantime, here's the lens module and lens on the Ricoh:

I should've added another camera to show scale better, but the GXR is a very compact camera. Set on its back, its footprint is smaller than the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The M39-mount Jupiter lens is small also, similar to old rangefinder lenses (well, I think it was an old rangefinder lens? Not exactly sure; I'm still learning about that era of vintage lenses). I'm eager to get some other fun vintage lenses to play around with, as well as some actual Leica M-mount or M42-mount lenses, since this is my only camera with such a mount.
