Picture a Day: Sep 14

We went to Central Park in Santa Clara to kill two birds with one stone: catch Ponytas to hunt for shinies on Community Day, and walk around the Santa Clara Arts & Wine Festival. It was a pretty nice, sunny day with a decent breeze most of the time. I was too busy paying attention to Pokemon GO to take any other pictures, besides this ube-flavored rice crispy bar I bought in the late afternoon for a snack. It was good! Not too sweet, but I still had to finish the remaining half of it later at home. 😅

Happily I caught more than enough shiny Ponytas, and I was able to complete the ridiculous research task of catching 200 Pokémon in one day that you have to complete after you’ve hit level 40 to move on to the next level. I really am not playing Pokémon GO much these days, but I love the Alolan Ponytas and wanted some shinies. I can’t remember if I‘ll be able to transfer them to my Pokémon Home storage to eventually use them in the main Pokémon games, but I’m happy to have them, regardless.
