The Kodak Charmera's very low resolution of 1.6 megapixels creates a challenge of capturing subjects in a flattering way. You kind of have to lean into impressionistic rendering of simple subjects with minimal details. In a way, it's a fun creative challenge, and in another way, it's annoying, because I have other low-res toy cameras that have better quality and offer a similar lo-fi look and user experience. But I have only had the Charmera for a short time, and haven't even used it much during that short time, so my impressions of it will likely evolve.
