picture a day: mar 9

Not to spoil the mystery, but this is an out-of-focus picture of a part of the body of my BENU Euphoria Earl Grey pen. It was sitting in a pen stand in direct sunlight looking all sparkly, so I had to take a picture. I took a couple that were regularly focused on the gold glitter flakes in the translucent brown resin, but then the iPhone's camera app would render the shiny glitter bits out of focus if I framed the macro shot a certain way, so I played with that.
