picture a day: jul 3

Surreally-colored infrared picture of a tree top against a clear sky: the tree's leaves are a violet/lavender, while the sky is a peachy pink
Like Candy, 2025, taken with a Ricoh GXR, IR-converted 24-70mm lens module, variable IR filter

I really like the weird colors that the variable IR filter makes straight out of the camera, but this time I tweaked them slightly, making the tree more violet than it was in the original shot. Infrared photography can fulfill my desire to see fantasy worlds. ✨
