Close up of a grevillea, or "spider flower", a pink and yellow flower with lots of curly stem-like, projections that make it look like fireworks
Floral Fireworks, 2025, taken with a Ricoh GXR and P10 lens module (28-300mm equiv)

Along our neighborhood walk, there's a place that has these flowers in their front yard, which I finally looked up: they're grevillea plants, commonly known as spider flowers. There are different kinds with different shapes and colors, but they all kind of look like fireworks to me, so I will personally refer to them as fireworks flowers. 😆

I couldn't get much background separation since I didn't use the telephoto end of the zoom range, but it's an okay capture. Maybe next time I'll use a proper macro lens.
