picture a day: apr 20

Oops, late post. Here's one of the shots from my Polaroid Go that I took of Pixel before I switched to the Holga with Instax Mini back. I didn't realize how cool (temperature) the lighting would look with indoor flash. IIRC, original Polaroid 600 film looked much warmer than this indoors, but I didn't shoot with flash that much, so perhaps the flash did cool down the white balance. 🤔

Anyway, I wanted a different look, so I loaded up my Holga with Instax Mini film and got some better shots (it helped that I caught him in bright sunlight). I think my Polaroid Go film produces much better shots outside (example), something for Future Me to remember.

This is a nice occurrence, considering my mindset when I took this picture was very worried and anticipating the worst-case scenario, the day before Pixel's surgery. I'm glad I can look back positively on this picture now.
