Inkvent 2025 - Week 2 Recap

I don't think I have the energy to do a big write up for my week 2 favorites along with comparisons, but I will at least call out the ones I'll likely use in a pen soon.

Colorverse

Out of the Colorvent inks, my top favorite is Flame Nebula, a great red-orange true to its fiery namesake; followed by Blue Hole, a light blue with surprising yellow chromoshading; and Snow Angel, a cozy, kind of hot chocolatey brown.

Diamine

Nostalgia wins week 2 Diamine Inkvent for me, with its eccentric combo of a sepia base color and magenta chameleon shimmer. Bittersweet is the nostalgic (ha) runner up because it totally reminded me of Andes mints with their shiny green wrappers, one of my favorite chocolates/candies. Second runner-up is Bubbly, a great champagne-colored shimmer. Honorable mention goes to Brrr! for its fun name and nice icy blue color, even though I'm wary of it, due to pigment inks being harder to clean out of pens.

Slackvent

Any regular reader knows I love Sailor Shikiori Yuki-Usagi which happened to be a dupe since I already have this ink, but as I mentioned in the original day 11 post, I'm happy to have more of this ink in any amount! Next runner-up is Sailor Tea Time - Koicha, a lovely, strong matcha green, right up my alley. Second runner-up is Kuretake Art Nouveau Chrome Yellow because it's such a cheerful, sunny orange-yellow. I don't tend to write with yellow inks, but I might end up using Chrome Yellow during the winter season to help combat the blahs.

Out of week 2's inks, which ones did you like best? Tell me here, on Mastodon, or Bluesky.
