Inkvent 2025 - Day 21

Diamine ruined another ink that I might've been interested in (sorta), and Colorverse's offering today wasn't really for me, so today's kind of a bust again. 😕

Colorverse

Pink Salt does look like Himalayan pink salt (kind of reminds me of pink lemonade, too), but I'm not a fan of pink, so this is not for me. It's also kind of light and lacking in opacity, so that's a bit of a knock on it.

Diamine

I usually do my swatches after midnight, so the poor lighting in my office made me think that Chaos was a reddish-brown ink, but in the better lighting of this morning, it's clearly a purpley-burgundy instead. It's pretty dark, so even without the extreme green sheen, it probably wouldn't have been at the top of my list for inks to write with. The green sheen totally overwhelms the base in writing, so yeah...no.

Bummer that today was a let down across both brands again. I was hoping that as we get closer to the end that the inks would ramp up in coolness for my preferences, but that hasn't happened. 😝 What say you? Let me know what you think here, on Mastodon, or Bluesky.
